Annyeong Haseyo (안녕하세요 - I googled that lol) people who actually still read this space!!!! I'm finally back with a somewhat decent post with proper photos? :-)
Feels great to be able to do what I love doing - taking photos, editing the colours and whatnot, school has been mere shit but I'm trying to hang in there....

So here are the visuals from Sunday:

Sarah came over to my house and we went down to the brick walls nearby to take photos

and then proceeded to a pretty wall I spotted the other day

where we exercised a great amount of self-control and bought minimal stuff haha

We went to Forty Hands to ~chill~ and Sarah actually forgot to take the book she bought with her from the store and this really cute handsome young chap working there managed to find us at Forty Hands and returned it back to her omg *squeal* hahaha he was so adorable :')

The last destination of the day was Tiong Bahru Market (because I was craving for sugarcane juice so bad hahaha) and we had a great h2h session

I can't take spicy food, tho I'm slowly starting to appreciate the spicyness of tom yum soup despite getting watery eyes afterwards
I have really big calves, thighs and baby fat cheeks (or maybe my fat cheeks are not made up of baby fats but mature fats hahahaha okay that's stupid)
I hate decorating and writing cards for others so I usually design it on the computer before passing it to them (Yes my art skills sucks like mad)

I finally met up with Eunice yesterday after 4 freaking long months :')

We ate lunch at Mos Burger and saw someone who looked like Bvlyn (we almost went up to say hi UNTIL we took a closer look - lol luckily we were saved from the embarrassment)

Then we went to a clinic nearby because I wanted to get medicine for my allergy (which I have no idea was triggered by what and when) and I told the doctor that I had fever a week ago but I don't have a fever anymore and he checked my temperature and went " What don't have, 38.1 leh "....uhm okay.

Yup so I was given an MC till Wednesday (which means that I don't have to go for netball hahahaha oh yeah!!!!)

our room looked like some military training bunk bed room (which actually turned out to be rather cosy after 2 nights, surprisingly - adaptation folks, adaptation #proud)

My pasta which I added too much salt (because I mistook it for cheese) into until the waiter came around asking whether we wanted cheese and then I stopped and was like "oh my gosh what did I add". Too late mi lady, too late.

In the evening, we went to catch Billy Elliot the musical and it was spectacular!!! They smoked real cigarettes and all the vulgarities weren't censored omg I almost died from all the smoke but man, it was really really r e a l l y amazing.

The day we woke up really early to travel to Birmingham

& we were lucky because there was a German market!!! The sausages and garlic bread tasted soooo heavenly but we ate too much for our good and ended up with overly bloated stomachs :-(

Like, after I lost my phone and wallet, I changed all the passwords of my accounts except for Formspring, and ha! It got hacked. May the bloody bitch die die die, to hell with her omg fucking hell how can someone be so black-hearted!?!?!?!!

Today has been really eventful....in the not-so-fun way but more of the hectic omg-is-this-it kind of thing. Okay I don't think anyone of you reading this will understand what I'm saying so if you can't comprehend, just ignore this whole chunk of words and scroll to another more interesting site, because honestly, even I myself can't understand what I'm saying too, lol.

My family is undergoing this really huge transition in our lives now and I can't totally define whether it's a good change or not. Perhaps I'm not ready for such a big change, well none of us (my mom and dad) are, and I'm terrified.

I'll have to kick my unhealthy habits of spending money away willfully and buying materialistic stuff for my own selfish needs and start saving, and thinking for my family.
My life is going to be so different from now on, but for better or for worse?

I won't be able to spend hundreds of dollars at TOPSHOP anymore, I'll have to bid farewell to chasing after blogshop collections and placing my orders like a mad kid, afraid that the item I like will go OOS, I'll have to say goodbye to almost everything that has made my life as a teenager more than fulfilling, to say the least.

No more chasing trends, no more being a spoilt brat, no more money to spend basically...well ok the statement is clear that I'll be b-r-o-k-e.

Days ago, I was still asking my dad for a new iPhone and well, I was supposed to get it in January but now, I feel so guilty that my folks are working so hard just to give me a more comfortable life and yet, all I do is ask for more, and more, and more (which is never enough actually).

I guess I'll have to change. Yes, Change, the only constant. Quit being a self-centered bitch and start thinking for others, start putting myself in their shoes, stop complaining and whining, practice what I preach and be real.

Oh oh by the way, in case any of you are wondering, no this transition isn't about my family going bankrupt or anything along the line of us being totally penniless or whatever, but more of MY own funds (and perhaps my family's other assets) being really restrained because my parents want a better life for me and to earn more moolah haha.

Yes I know it does sound weird and incoherent, like what? She's saying that she's broke and now she's saying it's to earn money and for a better future? Huh?
Yeah see....you guys probably won't get it but whateverrrrrrrrrr, the purpose of this blogpost is mainly for me to figure out my personal thoughts because my mind's in a total whirl and I couldn't think of any other better solution to straighten those messy and broken train of thoughts.

Have been pretty caught up with viewing of houses lately, rather exciting actually but I'm tired from training every mon wed fri sigh....I just want to lay in my bed and be like Bruno Mars on his Lazy Song.
Eat, sleep, watch tv and simply become a big fat couch potato, what an appealing idea!

Haven't had any time to take photographs nor go out to explore new and old places so make do with these ugly photographs above that I didn't even bother resizing it to optimize its quality...aaah whatever.

Okay so Chinese O's were held in the morning and well, the papers were manageable..so I really hope I'll able to secure an A1!!!! Keyword: Hope.

Alright, so after CL O's, I went to town with Pam and Ting Fang. (Note: our plan was to go to Somerset for 1 hour then head to IKEA because Pam wanted to eat meatballzzzzz) Changed out of our school uniform and sigh........I stupidly left my phone near the washing basin in the toilet WITHOUT realizing until half an hour later...? Yup, shall elaborate more later on.

Then, we went shopping and got really cute matching socks from TOPSHOP for London because well, a) they were cute, b) I had to utilize my F3 vouchers well, c) they were just too cute.

It was only when we had to pay at the counter did I realise that my wallet was missing, lol klutz much?

So I searched through my entire bag of stuff (yes I was lugging a whole bag of stuff from school) and my school bag but nah, my prized possessions were nowhere to be found, sad to say.

& right now, I really have to applaud myself for being the calmest person alive, seriously. I didn't cry, I didn't scream, I didn't dash back to 313. Nope, nothing.

Calm me simply strolled down the streets back to 313 from Knightsbridge with Pam and Fang while they were going "OH MY GOSH FAITH OH MY GOSH OH MY *p@#^!@&#^@!p#!@".

Was crossing my fingers so tightly and praying really really hard that my wallet and phone would still be there and no one would take it, but guess what? There was nothing to be found, ha. What a friendly surprise...not.

Made a report at the counter and used Fang's phone to access Find My iPhone and I managed to locate my phone (but honestly, I really doubt the accuracy of the location the app provided me with) and we rushed there. Fyi, it was located at this bus-stop opposite 313, next to Centrepoint.

We searched for 2 freaking hours, asking the ladies sitting at the bus-stop if they had seen a brown wallet and polka dot iPhone (which really is pointless because if the person really took them, she wouldn't own up for sure....but what was there to do? We were desperate.), only to get strange looks and "no" as answers.

Plus, we even listened close to the dustbins near the bus-stop for the vibration of my phone while Pam tried to call, thinking that the person may have thrown my phone into the bin because according to the Find My iPhone app, my phone WAS at the damn bus-stop and was there for 2 freaking hours (we kept refreshing and relocating!!!! It. Was. Stationary. - which only means that either 1) the person who took my phone and wallet just left it there. 2) the person who took my phone and wallet worked near the bus-stop).

Then, friendly construction workers working at the site nearby helped us open the dustbins and rummage through the junk, only to find tissue paper, bottles and ya, gross unwanted stuff. Sigh, let me emphasize once more - we. were. desperate.

In the end, Pam had to go for tuition so she took a bus home and Fang and I did one last search before I mustered the courage to call my dad. I was expecting him to be really angry at me but no, he was so understanding!!!! + infinity points for best dad ever.
He rushed down to 313 to help me and then Fang left when he came, then we went to the police station to file a police report.

My dad was so nice to comfort me and say stuff like "It's okay, you're young, you make mistakes, just learn from them." :') Thanks daddy, you're the best ever.
On a sidenote, my mom grounded me for being so careless tho...but I think I'll be ~free~ soon so yep, happy thoughts happy thoughts!!!!

Even so, I feel so lost now! No phone (which literally means cutting off all my access from twitter, facebook, formspring, mail, temple run, instagram, viber, whatsapp, ok practically my entire social life) and no wallet (no $$$$ because my NETS was inside, no EZ link card, no IC (yes wtf I am in deep trouble), no F3 card, no NETS Flashpay, no more precious instants (which I forgot to scan some, ugh!!!), no more memories).

For the time being, I have no SIM card even though I have a spare phone...but really, no phone beats an iPhone (to me, that is). Shall survive on gorging myself with food while disconnecting myself socially (apart from logging on to all the networking websites on my computer) so goodbye guys! I'm guessing my updates won't be so regular from now on......but then again, not like many of you guys actually read. Oh well.

So I'm back to this stage of my life where I experience mood swings constantly.
More often than not, I don't even know why I'm pissed/unhappy, temperamental and slightly psycho, yes?

I need to discard all the insecurities of mine and make my life a little more delightful. But this time round, it's not just about insecurities anymore. It's about what others do to me.
And at this juncture, I suppose many will go "There she goes again, ranting about her life...being all moopy and stuff" but look, you don't know a thing about what I'm going through.

Honestly, I dread going to school so much, I don't want to see anyone there. Yeah, not a single person.
I would very much like to stay at home all day with the company of no one but myself, or perhaps my parents. & yes, the only people who probably matter to me most are my primary school friends?

It's like I can get close to the people in St Nicks, but I can't get TOO close to them (with the exception of Sarah tho). And at many occasions when I finally feel that "Oh hey, I can actually count on this person and she can be my new found true friend", you know what's next? Shit happens, all the time. There'll definitely be something that crops up that messes everything up.

So I suppose, just like Sarah said, the theory about Best Friends is merely sheer talk and certainly not practical at all. Close friends would be the closest thing next I guess, so I think I could stick to that. (Read Sarah's blogpost here - her latest blogpost is ze )

Thankful that the holidays are finally here, so I don't have to go to school to see people whom I have reservations about daily. But tbh, I know that ultimately, the friends I have in SN will still be so freaking important to me.............tsk tsk tsk, hate myself for being so fickle!!!! Detesting this love-hate relationship I have with them, and yes, I am a very bad friend......

Hey guys! Just a random update without pictures because I haven't had time to edit all the outstanding photos in my computer..
Just thought that this would be the right platform for me to release my excitement and happiness!!!

I bought a SLR in the afternoon, which was a really really good deal (below $100 oh my gosh can you believe it?!).
& in the morning, my dad told me that he needed a phone because he had to send his phone in for repair.
I was slightly hesitant, and yes I'm a person who can't live without her phone :-(
Nonetheless, I didn't want my dad to call me selfish or whatever and besides, he needed the phone more than I did (since I stayed home today) so yup, my phone went off with him.

Some highlights of last week:

On Friday, netball training was hardcore..if you were watching us, you would have thought that we were apes or clowns haha. Anyway, we had intensive drills for the first half of training (my team of 4 consisted of Shirlene Kimberly Wan Qing and I) which contributed the most to my aching thighs, abdomen and ankle.

Sidenote: Shirlene and Wanqing I know you guys are reading this ;-)

Nonetheless, our team was unbeatable and brilliant! Lucky for us, we didn't have to do any penalty or I would have died. Literally, yes.

Moving on, I could barely walk on Saturday, so my date to OM with Lins was rescheduled, but we went for tuition though.

On Sunday, I met Jasmine at FEP to do a little shopping before meeting the rest (Susana, Tessa, Hui En, Tiara) to head to Tessa's house for dip/ombre/tie-dyeing and baking of cupcakes. All in all, it was to mini-celebrate Susana's belated birthday & fortunately, our tie-dyed results turned out better than expected!

Today's Reflection Day in school.
The teacher spent the first half of the ~reflective~ session sharing Tumblr (I presume all the inspiring quotes were taken from Tumblr because some have appeared on my dashboard before lol) pictures of quotes and making us think back on what 2011 has been like - what we have learnt, what we want to leave behind, what we want to take with us to 2012..etc.

In all honesty, I thought it was a waste of time at first but the second part of the session was really good imo! We watched Letters to God (omg everybody please go watch it!!!! I pinky promise and swear that you won't have any regrets watching!) which was so touching that almost everyone and Mrs Gurong cried!!
Then, we wrote a letter to ourselves (which we'll only read it next year) and ended the day with a short video.

After school, I went to Somerset with Ting Fang to check out H&M's Winter wear before going for lunch at 313. We had Yoshinoya and Maggie Moo's, yum yum yum nom nom nom!!!!!
Then we went back to SN for MEP class...& yup that's the end of my day.

Hi guys!!! Finally a post after uh...4 days ;-)
Okay so anyway, I went to Night Safari with Lins (@liltinglilies.blogspot.com) yesterday and it was really awe-wait for it-some!!!!! Haha I think I sound a little bit high now because of the overwhelming insertion of exclamation marks but whatever. I have been really happy ever since Thursday ended ^-^

Actually, Night Safari itself was quite a bore, but it's the company that matters right? So, I enjoyed myself with the craziest woman ever haha ;-)

We met at Causeway Point first to have lunch+dinner, which reminds me that I haven't been there since a year ago! The mall looks so much better after renovation, but it's kinda complicated....or maybe that's because I don't know my way around well.

Anyway, we took the bus to Mandai Road after eating, then alighted and waited for another bus for roughly 10-15 minutes before something happened...
Ok so there was this bitch who was taking out her wallet when the bus came and she concentrated so much to the extent that THE FUCKING BUS WENT OFF WITHOUT US WHAT THE HECK.

So now you may be wondering what I was doing....and I'm sad to say I was watching her take out her wallet too :'(
Sigh....and we didn't know what time the next bus would come so we decided to hail a cab (we only got into one 10 mins later because there were so few cabs in the industrial area over there lol)

Thank god English Math Biology and Social Studies are finally over....4 down, 6 more to go!!!!
Have to really pull up my socks because nothing seems to be getting into my peabrain.

All the knowledge vapourise into thin air with the snap of a finger before I can even pen it down during my papers, hmm I suppose that simply proves that I need a larger brain capacity to store all those extra information? Yes.

So far, out of the 4 papers, only 2 have been manageable, not a good sign at all because the upcoming subjects are far worse. Sigh, guess that just implies that I've to prepare myself a box of tissue and a paper bag to hide my face when the waterworks begin and all that will be left on my face will prolly be just puffy eyes that needs no recognition from the world. (Do I even make any sense? No.)

Oh! I've also been making tons of post-EOYS plans and I'm all hyped up (even if that means traveling on a long bus ride bringing me to an unknown place)!
Gonna bake, eat, sleep, shop, take photos, explore new places, get stuff organized, etc. Woohoo!

Ok this is a desperate attempt to motivate myself to study. Apparently, I've been telling myself that I ought to hit the books and begin ABSORB_GEOGRAPHY_FACTS_101_ASAP since 4pm, but look! Hi all, just wanted to say that I've been having eating disorders recently........no, not anorexia, I don't even know the actual term for it.....it's like...........................hmmmm I eat too crazily, really.
Instead of 1 meal, I eat 2 meals at one go, or slightly more than that.
I've nothing but flabbly muscles on me now, and as weird as this sounds, I WANT TO RUN SO BADLY TO LOSE ALL THE EXTRA WEIGHT!!!!!

I should probably start a food dairy soon, would that seem appealing?

*Pardon the repetitive photos, I was playing around with different curves.

These are photos of the words of encouragement my friends (Man Yun Yu Ting Crystal Kimberly Shirlene Wanqing Amanda Natalie Abigail Jingwen Madeline) have written for me on Post-Its. It was certainly a pleasant surprise from them and recalling how Manyun and Yuting sneakily planned this whole thing, I feel like an absolute idiot, completely ignorant of what was going on hahaha.

I guess, it is these little gestures of theirs that make a huge difference in my life, cliche but true. I can't get over the fact about how thoughtful they are and that I do mean something to them :')

Our team hasn't been the most bonded team around, and we haven't scaled the heights that we're capable of reaching. Setbacks, conflicts, disputes...been there, done that.
It is true that some of us don't even try (that's me, actually), because it's a convenient excuse for us to get by every training, simply because we don't want to accept failure.
St Nicks has indeed modified us to become girls who strive for nothing but perfection and the word "failure" should never be found in our dictionary.
But.....we, or rather maybe only I, have failed to see that it is without even attempting to try, will we/(I) then fail.

With next year's competitions drawing nearer and nearer, the intensity of trainings getting higher and higher, and perhaps even the fighting for a place in the school team, I do hope that these won't set us apart further. Enough of being divided and not acting like a team, we need to get our head into the game and take on every challenge thrown at us as one.

I will try, I will. I've not succeeded yet, but I'm getting there. I've come to realise that it is all about perspectives, and once I have corrected mine, my fears will then be overcomed.Give me time, alright?
No more should we be afraid to fail, for in the end, we're only human.

My heart is vacant.
It's just this hollow, void space of nothingness again. Maybe I haven't felt love in a very long time, or maybe I'm just exhausted from trying that nothing can fill this null space.

Sometimes I just want someone whom I can depend on, someone who won't get bored of me, who won't get frustrated because of my constant rants, someone who can instill hope into me, someone who listens, someone who bothers, someone who doesn't judge, someone who'll accept me for who I really am.......

Sick of having to pretend daily that "yes i'm strong" and "yes bitch you're my 'friend' ha ha" or "yeah I'm forever looking cheerful" or even "I have a muthafucking perfect life". Call me fake, but check on yourself first too okay.

It's like I don't even know what I'm feeling or how I can express my emotions freely.......
I'm afraid of losing so many people........and with each action that I take, the deliberation and thoughts I go through..............it's uncountable and truthfully, it's an agony and a mental torture.

What is this? My life ain't some drama serial or movie that has to go through meticulous planning. As often as I preach to others to "let nature take it's course", I'm contradicting myself with every step that I take. Oh wait, there I go again, every s t e p....details again? Scratch that.

I don't want to over-think situations/over-analyze stuff/people anymore. Sick and tired. Really I am.
At the end of the day, I know that ultimately, I can do so much just to keep my friends with me......but if they choose to leave me, I can't possibly do anything right?

I'm not rich, not pretty, not kind, not very patient, not smart, not very understanding, not the bestest friend anyone can have..but I have (till date) tried to keep every single friendship I had intact.

My friday was fabulous!
I went for CIP with Carnation Bernice and Jillian for our school's Service Learning Programme where we wrapped toys for the needy children. It was rather meaningful and I enjoyed myself quite a bit, though my wrapping skills were a tad terrible.

Then, I had lunch with Linshan and we went on a productive study date. We had loads of fun as usual ;-) After having studied for nearly 4 hours, we had Din Tai Fung for dinner, yup. I don't have any photos to upload because they're all with Linshan. :-)

And now, I'm supposed to be completing my physics worksheets due...tomorrow (?) but I'm blogging, this is how dedicated I am to my blog *smug*. Nah just kidding, I didn't have enough endurance to persevere in finishing my work lol.

It's Thursday already and I haven't been doing anything productive. Needless to say, my progress for my preparation for the year end examinations has been...-99%.
I don't know where on Earth my enthusiasm and motivation has vanished to but I really r e a l l y need to get started pronto. It's useless for me to blog about all the things I need to do and once I'm done with this post, I'll revert back to the slouch-on-the-couch-and-eat-while-watching-television mode. Put it to damn action Faith Cheong and start working!

Linshan Eunice and I surprised her with cupcakes and a brownie cake at her school a few weeks ago and yes, it was a success! :-)

Oh and recently, I've bought studs and dye to dip-dye my denim shorts!!! Plus, I've been having this humongous urge to dye/dip dye my hair too.....:-( but sigh, that will only happen after O levels I guess, what a sad, pathetic life I lead.

haha ok these photos are closeups of cactus plants when I went to Cameron Highlands last year, and yup that's the end.

On a sidenote, to my dearest friend:

It may seem like the end, but it's not. It's a fresh beginning for you, and you'll have to take this as a lesson learnt. People come and go, some will stay, but eventually some will leave, this is a fact that everyone has to live with. I know it's hard on you now, but you have to pick yourself up, really. Even though your world has been revolving around that person for months, it's time to put a stop to that. Don't harbour any more hope that things will be back to normal again, as sad as it sounds, it will not.

The fact that he made this decision and hurled such hurtful comments at you with a simple text really shows alot, and you wouldn't want to love someone who loves you less than what you deserve.
Like I told you before, girls tend to love too much, care too much, give too much, hurt too much, but time will heal all wounds, yes? Stay strong girl, you've to believe in yourself that you can cope without him by your side, and you'll live even better without him.

Let this be the last time that you'll cry over him, and understand that nobody is indispensable in this world, you'll just need to learn how to adapt to this change. It's difficult, but it's worth giving your best shot for. Let go, forget, move on. This is a phase that will pass, and it's part and parcel of life. Be thankful for the past memories, but that's it.

You've so many other friends who truly love you for the person whom you are, and those are the people worth caring for. They won't leave you nor get bored of you, so look up little girl, you ain't alone.

My new friend, Hui Shi! :-)

These photos sum up my last day in school for Term 3, as well as Teachers' Day which was quite a blast, I would say.
The performances were alright I guess, but I praise the performers for their courage to dance right in front of the teachers, really. Even the librarians (note: am not stereotyping) were really enthusiastic about the whole performance and we could all see that they were dancing their hearts out, haha cute much? :-)

Here, (even though I know the chances of teachers reading my blog are pretty slim) I would like to thank a few of my teachers, namely Li Lan lao shi, Mr Alex Teoh, Ms Jane Foo and Ms Poh Ning.

Li Lan lao shi has returned to China but earnestly, I doubt anyone will ever forget this one teacher. Despite the short 8 months of being with us, it's as though she has been with this class since forever, which we all know, she had been, has been, and will always be with us, no matter where she is.

Mr Teoh's chemistry lessons must be one of the most interesting lessons in school, I mean, I don't think I can find any teacher as committed and dedicated as him. Despite his illness, he still painstakingly made the effort to make notes for us, so as to make our learning and studying easier.
Every lesson with him is a life lesson learnt, in which I will always remember him reciting his usual catchphrases like: "Girls, life is not just about studies...so what if you get A1?" "Who am I? I'm not your teacher, YOU teach me. I can only nurture you, we SHARE knowledge." "Those who can see cannot see, and those who cannot see can see." "Together, we can make that inspiring difference!"
What a jolly man he is, always cracking jokes about his cheeseprata, terrapins and whatnot. :-)

Ms Jane Foo and Ms Poh Ning are my MEP (Music Elective Programme) teachers and even though I only see them once a week after school for class, that mere 3 hours is prolly the best 1 and a half periods of school (other than recess hehe). MEP is the one subject that you won't feel stressed going to, (not only because you listen to classical/romantic/etc music and feel like falling asleep anytime) but because the teachers try their best to spice up the lessons, injecting lame jokes now and then where the whole class will break into fake laughing fits and go "yeh, soOOooOoOooOOOooOOoo funny ha ha ha -________-".
Still, Ms Foo and Ms Poh are such darlings and valuable teachers that I prize.

For once I'm not exactly stoked for the holidays to come because what follows next is unwanted pressure from the End Of Year Examinations. Le sigh!
Tomorrow will mark the start of week 10, which will also draw Term 3 to a close in no time, considering it to only be a 1 (and a half) day schooling week.
As I browsed through my archives and the random memories that I've conveniently tugged away in a secluded area in my mind, I'm rather happy to see how much I've evolved as a teen.

From a nerdy girl in primary school, to a stupid poser in secondary 1, and now, to the person who has been trying to find the real Me. I'm not proud of my past as a ugly duckling (not saying that I'm beautiful/pretty now - but better than last time at least?) and to be honest, I've a love-hate relationship with those memories related to my primary school life.

Don't get me wrong, I love my primary school - I love my friends there, my teachers, and practically every single bit of my 6 years of life in that school.
It's just that......when I look back now, I see a disgustingly ugly girl with a figure comparable to a mammoth, nerdy spectacles, fishball-sized cheeks...yup you get my point.
By listing out these points, it does make me seem a little shallow, doesn't it? But yes, it bothers me, a lot.

I haven't told anyone about this but really, it terrifies me to see primary school photos of me, it's like a haunting shadow that will always be a part of me, no matter what. In desperate attempts to virtually 'delete' and 'backspace' anything that links me to my awfully gross past, I've deleted my previous blogs, changed the privacy settings for primary school photo albums on Facebook to "Only Me", etc.

Well, I guess that pretty much shows how much insults and judgments that people bestow onto me affect my emotional-being? With each gram of those hurtful words - fat, ugly, chubby, weighing me down, I've learnt to grow stronger as a person, but weaker at heart? Of course, I can choose not to let the words of those insignificant people get into me/even let their attempts to bring me down succeed, after all, only the opinions of people who are dear to me should be taken into consideration - that I am fully aware.
But ultimately, I can't help but be sensitive and dwell on their comments.

I'm forever envious of those girls who always seem effortlessly pretty, chic, classy and close to perfection and will long to be more like them. A mere inch towards how they are is good enough for me, but no, that's mission impossible. Why oh why?

Goodness me, how contradictory I sound. In the previous post, I mentioned how I must 'start learning how to accept myself for who I am' and here I am, whining about my imperfections and flaws, yet again.
Yup, you've probably wasted your time reading my useless rants switched on to 'ostinato' mode. I apologize for the similar blogposts content constantly but if you're reading this, I just wanna say: Thank you for giving me a tinge of your attention and for dropping by.

My exams are finally over! But that's not the end. The return of my horrible results are so..dreadful to say the least.
This term has been fast-forwarded so fast, weeks passed and just when CA3s are over, guess what's in store next? End Of Year examinations...how timely, right?
We can't even take a proper break, chill, and just have some fun without having to worry about school for one moment.

Anyway, nothing significant happened in my life so far, other than my dad 'educating' me more often about life these days, I guess everything's pretty much the same.

On Wednesday night, my family and I were watching this drama serial in which the husband cheated on the wife, and the wife wanted him back, so she didn't mind giving him time, space and basically everything that I would not give/do if I were her. & when the husband went home, he realized that his wife was crying, and he chided her for it, saying that she was giving him pressure to make his decision quick (to choose between the wife and the mistress).

But really, what right does the husband have to even reprimand his wife? HE's the one at fault and there he is, raising his temper at her?! Of course, he is stressed out by the decisions he would have to make, but at the end of the day, he is in no position to throw a fit! Empathizing with his situation, but definitely disapproving of his actions.

I don't get why people even cheat on their loved ones...
People get married because they love each other, no? (minus arranged marriages etc.) So if they love each other, why would that 'love' change overtime? Isn't love about accepting others for who they are, what they do, their flaws, and putting differences aside...?

The divorce rates are so high now and I can clearly see how our society has 'progressed' over the past few generations (thanking history lessons for the background knowledge hahaha).
I'm just glad that my parents are happy together, and I hope that love of theirs will never fade, ever.

My dad asked me this question: What's the difference between marrying the one you love and loving the one you marry?
Phrases that appear to mean the same thing, but in actual fact, are worlds apart.
Marrying the one you love is a decision made using emotions and in a particular state of mind, but loving the one you marry is a commitment, an effort to keep the relationship together, in my opinion.

Call me naive, but I do believe that true love still exists, and it is something so empowering that broken bonds can be mended, quarrels can be avoided, differences can be forgo-ed, mistakes can be accepted, and imperfections can be loved.

and I..would very much want to love the one I marry.

My family went for a mini dinner for my mom's belated birthday yesterday night, so...happy belated birthday mommy!
Forever thankful for a god-sent gift like you, xx.

Alright so I started off my day with a very bad start...here's what happened:

I was texting while walking down the stairs to class and I accidentally missed a step and a giant tub of lard (me) went crumbling (I know it's not the correct descriptive word for fats but....yeah) onto the floor, with a twisted ankle.
What's worse? There were 2 girls walking behind me, and I ain't sure whether they saw me falling down like some comical/psycho person who ended up sitting on the floor, still scrolling her phone (trying to act nonchalant, cuz I honestly didn't know what to do and my ankle was hurting like a bitch). So yup, if they didn't, then they must have been thinking "What the heck is this girl doing on the floor?!".

On the bright side, I'm excused from physical activities, which means no netball!!!!!!!! Hell-freaking-yeah!

Okay, enough of wasting my time on cyberworld ~ Gotta get my head into the game (back to studying that is)!

It's heartbreaking to know that such an amazing teacher like her is leavingus till next year, and I've never ever thought that I would be so attached to ateacher, much less a Chinese teacher.

When she was still around in St Nicks, I took her for granted, well notexactly for granted, but...I didn't appreciate her as much as she deserves tobe. She has touched many of our hearts through her actions, words and kindintentions, it's almost peculiar such a kind and pure heart still exist in thisworld.

In class, she never fails to teach us moral values and share her lifeexperiences with us. Forever understanding she is, even though many of us takenaps in her class, she doesn't mind, for in her eyes, she knows that we aretired from the hectic life in school and we do need breaks.

Yes, I agree that a good teacher cannot be defined by just allowing us tosleep in class, but believe me, words cannot express what a good teacher sheis. It is her sincerity that is ever so heartwarming and I trust that that isalso the reason why 40 girls cannot bear for her to leave.

I'll miss her terribly but despite that, may all go well for her in Chinaxx.

p.s No hate comments about how ghastly I look please, my eyes are the resultof sneezing consistently for hours. :-(

Haha we were taking this photo while listening to Mrs Lim during Math class and suddenly she looked at us and we were damn shocked (okay, scared would be the right word) cuz we thought that she found out about us using our phones in class, luckily she didn't though ahhaha #ninjamoments

Racial Harmony day celebration in school today, was nothing much really, except for the taking of photographs. & if you notice, I've gained weight!!!!!! Ah crap okay whatever, I can't seem to be able to resist food.....oh how sinful that is.

On a sidenote, the week is coming to an end, I'm supposedly feeling happy about it but instead, it just means that week 7 is drawing nearer and nearer. Sigh, positive thoughts positive thoughts!!!!!

Went on a productive study date with Jasmine Hui En and Susana yesterday at Esplanade Library!
Smart me brought my camera without a memory card..funny how I used to remind Linshan not to forget about her SD card, and now it's my turn lol.
Fortunately tho, Jasmine brought her camera along too! So we ended up using her memory card in my camera.
Quality of the photos decreased significantly because they were taken from facebook...sigh. Perhaps I should start putting a spare memory card in my bag just in case.

& yes, if you notice, my legs are humongous in the above pictures, so you guys can stop saying that I'm skinny on Formspring because honestly, I'll never be associated with that word.

Went to watch the Netball World Championships 2011 held at Singapore Indoor Stadium yesterday during training hours (whoop) and I was really blown away, not by the games but by the players and the audience instead, as ironic as it sounds but yes.

There were so many gorgeous Caucasians with sparkling eyes, defined nose, perfect body shape, silky hair...the list goes on. Literally, I felt like a piece of dung surrounded by all the pretty flowers. Demoralizing but definitely envious.

Anyway, school has been as terrible horrible and unbearable as ever (what's new?) with piles and piles of assignments that appear to be never-ending.
On the other hand, life has been seemingly surreal recently.

I've been thinking a lot about what my future would be and what I should do, instead of plainly procrastinating and studying daily.
My routine (as stated before) holds no meaning at all, which is rather saddening? I mean, I've tried to live by the quote "Carpe Diem" but unfortunately, due to school commitments that the government has binded me (and generally all of us) to, we've been missing out on so much.

It's hard to manage fun and school together, and thus, living in Singapore where education is a must, we tend to neglect the other factors that bring joy to life. As such, that's the reason why some of us are known to be lifeless. Sure, we all do know how to have fun (and we have too much of it at times), but how do we juggle both the fun and boring without compromising anyone of them?
Think. Just think.

We are not allowed (if I could use that word) to take things at a slow pace because everything is just so fast-moving in this society.
I would very much prefer to be a country bumpkin and live in places like Tennessee (haha lesson #1 learnt from Hannah Montana the movie) but sad to say, I'm stuck in this cruel and competitive society where you have to be number 1, or you'll be eliminated.

Alright, got to snap out of my useless fantasies once again.

St Nick's 41st Sports Day Carnival was held today. The weather was a bitch and the company wasn't that fabulous (at the beginning), until Hui En and Jasmine came over to join me :-) Despite all, Red House won!!! Yes, again! That was the only climax throughout the whole event for me, sadly.

Headed home to bathe after that and met Eunice at Vivo City for a little shopping before going to her church.
She's such an awesome girl that never fails to make my day x99 shades brighter ;-)

I'll have to get started on revising for my oral next Tuesday asap, really nervous about it!!!! Crossing my fingers I won't stutter/blank out/have nothing to say at all for the conversation section/see any foreign Chinese character in the reading passage!!!!

Caution: Ranting post, don't read if you're feeling horrid yourself.

Today was supposedly one of those better days, until I reached home and saw the amount of work awaiting me.

Recently, I've been having this horrible urge to transfer schools so badly, mainly because I ain't enjoying my school life at all. Okay, I know school is never fun (for the majority), but for me, school holds nothing for me to look forward to - not even seeing my friends.

I mean, albeit my friends in St Nicks are nice, lovely people, but to be honest, there's no one, NO ONE, that I can truly count on/confide entirely into. Sometimes, all my secrets and thoughts are so overwhelming I literally feel like exploding but sigh....I'm a pathetic being, eh? Haha I've accepted that fact that I'm #foreveralone quite some time ago but am still (stupidly) constantly trying to find hope to prove that fact wrong...to no avail unfortunately. And yes, I seem to be repeating this often enough, lol. Scratch that tho, this is a ranting post, dayum.

Look around, you'll find love everywhere, or so they say. How untrue this statement is, for me, that is.

When I was Secondary 2, I started to learn how to love my school bit by bit, taking baby steps away from the horrid memories and attitude of mine in year 2009. My secondary 2 class was nothing less than wonderful and fabulous, or at least the people in it weren't so study-orientated.

This year, I find myself stuck in a class full of people whom I can't relate to at all. Alright, maybe I'm just the kind of girl who can't keep her focus on something for too long, unlike my classmates who're so amazingly intelligent and hardworking. I must admit, I ain't smart nor diligent...and that's what sets me apart from them I guess, in a bad way.

My drive to study is wearing out so rapidly that I'm worried, really worried. I can only push myself further on to study when I've the enthusiasm to, but now, there's just too much resentment towards things (that I can't pin-point exactly to)...I'm wondering: Wtf am I doing, really.

I'm such a lazy pig who knows she has to study but ain't doing so. I keep telling myself that I have to buck up, pull my socks up for this semester but talk is cheap and true enough, I'm lazing around all day.

My Chinese O Level Oral's next Tuesday, it's a wake-up call for me and I'm really nervous about it, yet again, I'm not doing my revision for it............
I'm hoping this is just one of the post-holiday syndromes that will die out soon. Well, it better be soon, or else I'm screwed. Okay, I already am, but still.

AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH HATING MY LAZY SELF but yup ok I'm gonna make an effort to start studying Chemistry now. Yup ok bye.
